| ANDERS VISCONTI Lead Guitar & Vocals New York native Anders has an eclectic musical background. He began playing trombone at age 10, and guitar at 15. By 17 he was playing both, part-time in local jazz and swing bands. In high school he was involved in several metal and grunge acts, and was playing local bars and attending every open blues jam he could find. By the mid 90's, he was expanding into progressive rock projects, ska/punk bands, and even produced a techno album. The original projects and bizarre experimentation was great fun and experience, but by now Anders has simplified, and gotten back to the classic rock and blues roots of the music he loves. He has Pittsburgh area and finding a place with The Woo Hoo Band. Anders' favorite music includes everything from Blood Sweat and Tears to Frank Zappa. His playing style is influenced by rock greats like Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, as well as progressive artists like Steve Vai. In his spare time, he still likes to experiment, and is currently working on a solo album inspired by his experiences in all styles of music. http://www.myspace.com/avisconti |
